1st Shift Monday through Friday 7am - 3:00pm. Pay starts at $20.00/hour

Allow me to introduce you to Kutol Products Company, we are a thriving hand soap and hand sanitizer manufacturer operating out of our Silver LEED Certified facility in Sharonville, Ohio. We process and package both cosmetic and drug formulas that work with our proprietary dispensing systems across the country and beyond. We are currently seeking a Material Mover/Production Teammate to join us in our purpose of providing “Clean Hands for a Healthy World.” 

At Kutol our material mover/production teammate operates a forklift to move material within the production area and warehouse locations in support of production line operations. Performs paperwork and assigned work tasks to facilitate production in a safe, efficient and quality manner to meet customer requirements. Perform flips and sort as needed to support the production lines and warehouse.

The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include

  • Facilitate movement of materials within the warehouse by moving finished goods and raw materials to correct locations.
  • Set up production lines with raw materials in a timely manner to facilitate customer orders.
  • Make certain finished goods have correct products and counts.
  • Ensure safe operation of stand up and sit-down forklifts and follow safe stacking and unstacking procedures, follow safe work practices in completion of tasks.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and Red Zone documentation.
  • Complete line clearance before commencing next run.
  • Transport raw materials and finished product to designated areas.
  • Sort product for defects, rework product, and assemble dispensers.
  • Follow fill line work orders and instructions, perform all job duties according to GMP and customer specifications, promptly report anything that appears incorrect to the Supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in an efficient manner that keeps up with the speed of the production line, and in a manner that produces quality product with correct fill weights, batch numbers, label placement, stacking patterns, etc.
  • Maintain 5S standards for safety and good housekeeping in production and assigned work areas.
  • Follow established safe work practices in completion of tasks.
  • Learn and perform additional tasks as assigned, including assisting with or performing set up of equipment, clean outs and changeovers, and administrative paperwork tasks as instructed.
  • Uphold standardized work methods.
  • Help instruct others who are new to production line or work area how to correctly perform tasks.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned to by the production supervisor or manager
  • Learn to restart the robot and trouble shoot it when necessary

Core Competencies/Requirements:

Education & Experience: 

  • 10th grade reading and math proficiency.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certification.

Knowledge/Skills & Abilities:

Detail oriented, able to complete associated tasks accurately.

Good interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate teamwork.

Ability to meet productivity and efficiency goals for the position.

Ability to perform fundamental computer operation and data entry.

 Demonstrated understanding of safe forklift operation.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and all its controls on stand-up and sit down models.
  • Lifting/moving objects up to 60 lbs.
  • Stand up to 100% of the time.
  • Occasionally overhead lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Tolerance for dusty conditions and exposure to chemicals, fragrances and dyes.

Starting pay for qualified candidates starts at $20/hour for first shift with a review and raise after 3 months, on your one year anniversary and annually thereafter.
