Join our team at the TRU hotel in Downtown Manchester as an Assistant General Manager just might be the place for you! We want to help you further develop your skills while working as a team to make TRU successful.

As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operations of our hotel. With your engaging personality and passion for hospitality, you will collaborate closely with our General Manager to provide outstanding guest service and maintain the highest standards of excellence.

Pay: Salary

Schedule: Weekdays and Weekends

Job Type: Full- Time

Responsibilities:

  • Front Office operations management to include, but not limited to, overall guest service, Brand standards, room availability, cost controls and overall profitability,systems use and management, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.
  • Monitor and encourage team members performance and assist in training needs. Actively work on coaching, evaluating, and rewarding team members. Assist in scheduling and employee reviews process.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction reviews and scores with the General Manager and improve accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott and Lafrance standards.
  • Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner and resolves guest concerns.
  • Manage the housekeeping/laundry department as well as some housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Prior hotel experience 1-2 years, preferably in relatable role or a hotel leadership role
  • Front of the house hotel experience
  • Strong knowledge of front desk operations or property management
  • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • On Q knowledge is a plus nut not a requirement
