Salary: $65,000 - 85,000/year
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including quality assurance (QA), equipment calibration, product modeling and design, as well as validation activities. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure the successful development and testing of mechanical systems, equipment, and products.
Responsibilities- Quality Assurance (QA):
- Assist in the development and execution of quality control processes.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure mechanical systems meet the required specifications and standards.
- Document findings, track defects, and work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
- Equipment Calibration:
- Support the calibration of mechanical testing equipment, tools, and instrumentation.
- Follow established procedures for calibrating and verifying equipment accuracy.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Product Modeling & Design:
- Assist in the creation of 3D models, drawings, and simulations for new products using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with senior engineers to refine designs and ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to design reviews and iterations to optimize product performance.
- Validation:
- Support testing and validation of mechanical products and systems to verify performance and reliability.
- Collect and analyze test data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements based on results.
- Assist in the development of validation protocols and test plans.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of QA procedures, equipment calibration techniques, and testing protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
