Senior Data Analyst

As a Senior Data Analyst at Lifebyte Systems, you will play a critical role in leveraging data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making within the company. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that can inform business strategies and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support for ad hoc analytic and data requests from the service desk, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Design, implement, and manage data analytics solutions using AWS and Snowflake data warehouse technologies.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Utilise Python for data analysis, automation, and integration tasks, applying best practices in coding and data handling.
• Create compelling data visualisations and dashboards using leading visualisation platforms to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, collect requirements, and deliver comprehensive analytics solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleaning processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices within the analytics team.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analyst role, with a strong background in data warehousing, data analytics, and business intelligence.
• Expertise in AWS and Snowflake data warehouse technologies.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
• Strong experience in developing visualisations and dashboards using leading platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex data challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
