The Role

Are you passionate about leveraging technology to drive business success? Join our team as a Senior Finance System Specialist with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development. In this crucial role, you will optimize our ERP systems and take charge of administering and maintaining MS Business Central. You'll lead solution design and implementation, ensuring our systems meet dynamic business needs.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external vendors and business units, to refine processes and enhance operational efficiency. As a key player, you will be responsible for daily administration of the finance business system, as well as translating business needs into effective customizations and solutions. What you'll do

  • Administration and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC), ensuring optimal performance and reliability. 
  • Solution design and implementation of customizations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) to meet business requirements. 
  • Collaboration in cross-functional teams, with external vendors and business teams to refine processes and support operational needs. 
  • Monitoring system health, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime. 
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and security roles within BC and D365. 
  • Coordination and execution of system upgrades. 
  • Providing training and supporting users, enhancing adoption and efficiency. 
  • Documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. 
  • Stay current with BC, D365, and ERP best practices and updates. 

 

What you bring to the table

  • Proven experience as a Microsoft Business Central (BC) Developer. 
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and general ERP systems. 
  • Proficiency in AL language and experience with BC extensions. 
  • Solid understanding of business processes and workflows. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework preferable. 
  • Microsoft Certified Professional in BC and/or D365 (nice to have)
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure (nice to have)
