Pay Range: $20-23 per hour for front desk work, $50 per class. This is a contract role with no benefits.

Your Mission:
Your mission is to uphold the highest standards of hospitality for the tenants of Lulafit’s downtown Chicago amenity centers. You'll be scheduled on an as-needed basis to support the operations of various locations, providing front desk support and occasionally teaching fitness classes. When you are subbing at one of our locations, you’ll oversee facility upkeep, fitness center memberships, and quality control to ensure a five star experience for our tenants.

As a result of your time in this role, you brought daily joy to hundreds of human beings who work in downtown Chicago. You created such deep and meaningful relationships with building management teams, their tenants, and external partners that they never wanted lulafit to leave. Lastly, you supported the lulafit team in becoming a lasting fixture in downtown Chicago.
What You’re Responsible For:- Operational Coverage: Support the operations in any of our 13 Chicago locations for planned and unplanned time off. You will be contacted by our Experience Specialist with as much advanced notice as we are able to provide to be scheduled for a shift or shifts within the hours of 12pm-7pm, Monday-Thursday.
- Front Desk Support: Support the operations at various locations by providing member support at the front desk. This will include: assisting with membership management, answering member questions, and giving tours of the space.
- Five-Star Hospitality Service: Ensure members receive an exceptional experience by providing a warm welcome and departure experience. You’ll also oversee upkeep of special touches such as our spa-style signature fruit-infused water.
- Maintain a Pristine Facility: Keep the spaces you are working in tidy, organized, and fully operational to ensure a seamless member experience, performing checks regularly during each of your shifts. Regularly restock amenities such as towels, locker room supplies, pantry items, and/or conference room supplies.
- Group Fitness Classes: Substitute teach group fitness classes in various formats as needed. Prepare the space ahead of class by setting out equipment, mats and towels to ensure a hospitality-forward experience for members. Provide a safe and effective workout in class, offering modifications as necessary.
Who You Are - Baseline Requirements:- You have 1+ years experience in a hospitality or customer-facing service environment.
- Even better if your experience has touched the corporate fitness or commercial real estate sector.
- You must have a valid Group Fitness certification from a nationally recognized organization.
- You must be comfortable teaching multiple formats of group fitness classes to groups of all sizes.
- You are technilogically savvy and are comfortable navigating multiple software platforms at the same time, like GSuite and sound systems.
