Job Description

We are seeking 2 report writers for long term engagement.  Project with extensive reporting needs, excellent environment with opportunity to learn in-demand healthcare reporting skills. The report writer will assist in the analysis, planning, design, creation, and maintenance of simplex to complex reports and database projects.

Currently seeking only local candidates please. Greater Ventura or Los Angeles area. Thank you. ON SITE REQUIRED 3 DAYS PER WEEK.

Responsibilities include:

Responding to user requests, will develop, test and run Reports to extract/report on data contained in the EHR system.

Analyze clinical & financial data contained in the database to identify data reporting issues with existing and proposed system tools

Document detailed specifications for each report including both the technical specifications and a summary of the report.

Complete thorough unit testing of all build prior to hand-off for functional and/or integrated testing. Also facilitates functional and integrated testing as requested as well as creating and providing documentation as required to the testing and training team

Document timely status and completion of requested reports.

Maintains centralized calendar of reporting needs for internal use and external agencies.

EMR data and local databases.

  1. Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Access to manipulate and analyze data.
  2. Provide end user support pertaining to reporting
  3. Healthcare experience a big plus
  4. Strong SQL is required
