Lynches River Electric Cooperative is excited to announce an opening for a Marketing Specialist who is ready to take the lead in enhancing our marketing strategies and initiatives. This position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketer with a passion for community service and a strong understanding of digital marketing trends. As the Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and member engagement. You will utilize your creative skills to create impactful content for various platforms, including social media, email, and print materials. In addition, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our marketing messages resonate with our audience and align with the cooperative’s mission. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to promote Lynches River Electric Cooperative’s services and initiatives.
  • Create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve future marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage community events and outreach programs that enhance community relationships.
  • Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Serve as a liaison with external vendors and service providers for marketing projects.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are compliant with the cooperative’s branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a utility or cooperative environment.
  • Strong proficiency in digital marketing and social media management.
  • Excellent copywriting and editorial skills.
  • Experience with analytics tools to measure campaign success.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for community service and stakeholder engagement.
