To this end, MEI has been successful in creating a robust in-house legal team that oversees compliance, implementation and regulation of company-wide rules and regulations, as well as monitor and execute transactions. The addition of a Paralegal is integral to our growth in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of corporate organizational maintenance, legal research and handling of legal documents and contracts.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Assisting in managing documentation for acquisition closings.
- Assisting in preparation and finalization of routine legal documents such as NDAs.
- Creating, managing, and organizing the documents management system of the company as a “single source of truth” system, including organization of project specific folders.
- Overseeing the transfer of documents and information across the existing databases utilized by the company.
- Creating and maintaining digital trackers to keep all information/documents up-to date.
- Creating and maintaining a corporate organizational chart to reflect new acquisitions and changes to corporate structure.
- Managing post-acquisition updates of corporate governance documents and governmental filings for acquired entities.
- Collaborating with all functions of the organization including business development, diligence, finance, operations, and legal functions to drive organizational change initiatives related to the company’s information management system.
- Working closely with the legal team to develop and implement improvements to contracting processes and tools, including a suite of regularly updated template documents.
- Performing various administrative duties including creating and preparing routine materials, proofreading, verifying and editing materials for accuracy and clarity.

- Has familiarity with renewable energy transactions involving financing, acquisitions, and project documents.
- High level of understanding of various data management platforms such as Airtable, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Box and Dropbox, as well as MS Word, MS Power point and other typical software.
- Must be able to work quickly and independently with strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to budget time efficiently to meet deadlines.
$91,810 - $122,670 a year
The actual salary offered may vary depending on job-related factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience and location.
