Position Overview:
We are looking for a Website Intern to join our Marketing team and support our website initiatives. This role is ideal for a student passionate about digital marketing, content management, and user experience. You will assist in maintaining, updating, and optimizing website content to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across all web properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with website updates, content uploads, and page builds using our CMS (WordPress or equivalent platform).
Support QA (Quality Assurance) testing of new pages and website updates to ensure functionality, responsiveness, and design standards are met.
Help optimize existing pages for SEO, including updating metadata, alt text, and on-page content.
Collaborate with wider Marketing, Brand, IT and external Web Development teams to support website projects and campaigns.
Monitor site performance and report on web traffic metrics.
Assist with managing digital assets such as images, videos, and downloadable resources.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of web processes and documentation.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Marketing, Communications, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of CMS tools (e.g., WordPress or similar).
Familiarity with SEO best practices is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn.
