MARKETING FOR TECH is a technology marketing firm, based in Athens, Greece. We specialize in helping technology companies develop and execute tailored marketing strategies to accelerate their growth and success.
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by expanding our client base and acquiring new accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B sales or business development, with proficiency in both English and Greek.
This is a fully remote position, though we prefer candidates based in Athens, Greece, for occasional in-person meetings and team collaboration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential clients and develop targeted prospect lists.
- Qualify leads to ensure they align with our target customer profile.
- Generate new business leads through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and networking events.
- Initiate contact with prospects, schedule meetings, and build strong client relationships.
2. New Business Acquisition
- Negotiate and close deals, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals.
- Conduct persuasive presentations tailored to client needs.
- Draft and send proposals and contracts to potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and contracts, ensuring favorable outcomes for both the client and our company.
- Maintain and update CRM systems to ensure accurate sales tracking and reporting.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Understand clients' needs and challenges to tailor our services effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent experience in B2B sales or business development
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in both English and Greek (written and spoken)
- Experience in selling services to the B2B industry is a plus
- A solid understanding of the B2B industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on knowledge of LinkedIn, and similar sales prospecting tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, remote team.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with CRM platforms is highly desirable. (HubSpot is a bonus, but we’ll show you the ropes if needed!)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- High ethical standards and integrity in all client interactions
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
- Resides in Athens, Greece, and is able to work remotely.
