Key Responsibilities:

Quality Inspections

Perform inspections in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

Conduct first and last piece inspections.

Perform in-process inspections.

Maintain a consistent presence on the production floor to ensure quality adherence.

Determine if materials should be scrapped or if rework is feasible.

Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance product quality and reduce costs.

Manage and monitor the performance of quality control systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Evaluate the quality of materials or products and provide technical or procedural guidance to customers.

During downtime in inspect

Machine Operating

Responsible for fabricating and assembling various metal products using tools, machines and hand strength

Read and interpret measurements and blueprints sketches and assembly instructions

Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions

Remove burrs, sharp edges, or rust form work piece

Report to shift supervisor or additional responsibilities

Documentation and Reporting

Complete quality control forms in accordance with company procedures.

Communicate and share information with supervisors and coworkers.

Share quality control information with relevant departments, vendors, and contractors.

Housekeeping & Additional Responsibilities

Keep the non-conformance area clean and organized.

Assist with ISO audit procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Overtime is occasional on Fridays.

Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment, assembly methods, and product design.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organizational skills.

Attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Capability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.


$18.50 - $20 an hour
Plus $1 shift differential
