Role Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive the overall marketing, communications, and branding strategies for MMI. As the Deputy CMO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s market presence, driving growth, and fostering innovation. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can manage a high-performing team, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and deliver impactful results. You will be instrumental in crafting and implementing cutting-edge strategies to establish MMI as a leading name in the trade fair industry, ensuring a strong market position and brand equity.
Roles and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute holistic marketing, branding, and communication strategies aligned with business goals.
- Branding: Elevate brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to strengthen market presence and equity.
- Operational Trade Fair Marketing: Plan and oversee marketing strategies for trade fairs, including lead generation, pre-show promotions, on-site branding, and post-event analysis.
- Marketing Automation: Implement and optimize marketing automation tools to streamline campaigns, enhance personalization, and improve conversions.
- Budget Management: Optimize and manage marketing budgets to ensure cost efficiency and maximize ROI.
- Performance Excellence: Drive data-driven decision-making to optimize marketing efforts and track KPIs for all campaigns.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and lead the MARCOM team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing strategies across the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with external partners like agencies and media outlets to amplify brand initiatives.
- Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in strategic marketing leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree is a good to have.
- Understanding of the trade fair industry, either as an exhibitor, organizer, or a marketing leader in a related domain.
- Proven success in driving strategic marketing and operational trade fair initiatives.
- Proficiency in budget management, cost optimization, and achieving financial efficiency.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools and data-driven campaign management.
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
