Job Description

We are looking for a talented and creative 3D Artist specializing in Clothing & Characters to join our team. Your work will focus on designing, modeling, and optimizing 3D avatars, clothing, and accessories for the ME! Avatar App, ensuring high-quality visuals and seamless integration within the Unity engine.

As part of our growing team, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, animators, and engineers to push the boundaries of avatar customization, real-time rendering, and digital fashion in gaming and metaverse applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and create high-quality 3D character models, clothing, and accessories optimized for real-time rendering.
• Utilize specialized clothing and fabric simulation software to create realistic or stylized apparel.
• Ensure proper topology, UV mapping, and texturing to achieve visually appealing and game-ready assets.
• Work closely with the art director and developers to ensure seamless integration of assets in Unity.
• Optimize assets to balance visual quality and performance across mobile, desktop, and AR applications.
• Develop and maintain a streamlined clothing customization pipeline for user-generated content.
• Stay informed on industry trends in digital fashion, metaverse avatars, and web3 projects.

Required Skills & Software Proficiency

• 3D Modeling & Sculpting: Blender, Maya, ZBrush
• Clothing & Fabric Simulation: Marvelous Designer, Clo3D, or equivalent
• Texturing & Materials: Substance Painter, Photoshop
• Game Engine Integration: Unity (Pipeline knowledge, Avatar Customization Systems)
• Optimization Techniques: LODs, poly count reduction, performance balancing

Metaverse Bonus Points if you have...

• Familiarity with Unity Character Creator or similar avatar customization tools.
• Experience in rigging and skinning characters for animation.
• Understanding of blockchain technology, NFTs, and web3 projects.
• Knowledge of procedural content generation for clothing and accessories.
• Background in fashion design, digital apparel, or metaverse-related projects.
