The Assistant Marketing Manager, International, will support the development and execution of 360 marketing campaigns across direct and distributor-led international markets. This role brings Milani’s product launches to life across customer and retailer touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency, strong storytelling, and go-to-market excellence.

Working closely with the International Sales team, local agencies, and cross-functional partners, the Assistant Marketing Manager will develop marketing campaigns, support merchandising initiatives, and assist with new market expansion efforts.

The ideal candidate is eager to grow their marketing and leadership skills within the beauty industry, with a focus on supporting international brand growth.

The mission of the role is to support the execution of strategic marketing plans that drive brand awareness, deliver impactful product launches, and strengthen retailer and distributor relationships. This individual will help accelerate Milani’s international expansion by ensuring high-quality marketing execution that supports the company’s overall growth goals and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead 360 marketing planning and execution, aligning with global and regional strategies.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop retailer programs and support key launches with customized marketing plans.
• Partner closely with the Visual Merchandising team to develop, review, and maintain planograms and in-store graphics for new launches and ongoing core programs.
• Support the management of local PR agency relationships to drive brand awareness and influencer partnerships.
• Coordinate the creation of promotional and marketing materials across online and offline channels.
• Assist distributor market expansions by creating marketing toolkits, compiling best practices, and assisting with pitching materials.
• Conduct competitive analysis and consumer insights research to inform marketing strategies.
• Provide input into product innovation based on regional market needs and consumer trends.
• Manage day-to-day project execution with attention to detail and timelines.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably with beauty or consumer goods brands.
• International marketing experience strongly preferred (UK, EMEA, or Australia experience a plus).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience with marketing project management tools preferred.
• Creative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Agency experience or experience supporting distributors is a plus.
• Fluency in a second language is a plus but not required.

Compensation

The base salary range represents the low and high end of Milani’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to location, education, skills, experience. The annual base salary range for this role is $73,000 to $85,000.00.
