ERP Manager

Our Milhouse Finance team is seeking an ERP Manager to support our rapidly growing organization in our Chicago office location!


This position will support and directly report to the Vice President of Finance & Accounting. To perform in this position successfully, the ideal candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. What you will do:
  • Supervise the maintenance and monitoring of application security, verification of application integrity, and provide guidance for codifying system procedures for application functions.
  • Conduct testing of systems and performs systems upgrades.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to configure and customize ERP software to meet business needs.
  • Optimize business processes and reporting by fully harnessing the functionality of ERP system.
  • Evaluate new or under-used functionality, identify inefficiencies to streamline operations and eliminate redundancies
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure the system’s data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP related issues, providing technical support to users
  • Coordinate with external ERP vendors and consultants on system customization, integration and updates.
  • Collaborate with Finance leaders on projects pertaining to Deltek applications and functions, including system upgrades, year-end processing support and implementation of customizations.
  • Plan, coordinate and lead any system/process re-design, ERP migration or integration.
  • Inform VP of Finance of ERP enhancements that can support or improve business processes
  • Research ERP solutions and stays up to date with industry trends.
  • Develop resources for user training to cater to diverse skill levels of users
  • Assist on various special projects as assigned.
  • Develop and lead a team of ERP specialists
  • Take personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.


What we are looking for:
  • Strong business process expertise
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Advanced knowledge of project management & project accounting concepts and practices.
  • Substantial ERP system design and management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Proficiency in OnBase or similar electronic filing software.
  • Advanced Excel skills (v-look ups, pivot tables).
  • Exposure to Power Bi.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.


Your background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or a related discipline  is required.
  • 10 plus years of accounting experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with ERP systems.
  • History of escalating responsibilities in IT with both project and accounting systems management.


$120,000 - $160,000 a year
The actual base pay depends upon many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
