Mindful Support Services is a mental health organization focused on business-to-business support for independent therapy and psychiatric private practices. For over 14 years, we have been providing administrative and organizational services to simplify the processes of sourcing, marketing, and billing with patients and insurers. Our teams support 2,000 mental health providers and over 29,000 patients per week across 5 states, 17 locations and virtually via Telehealth.

About the Role: 

The Healthcare Recruiter/Business Development Representative (internally known as Onboarding Specialist) works fully in-office at our Mountlake Terrace, Washington Headquarters. There they will serve as the primary point of contact to a cohort of 35-50 licensed and pre-licensed mental health professionals by way of recruiting, onboarding, business development and business consulting.  

This role will rely heavily on detailed and thorough organizational systems and documentation, in addition to creativity and follow through when solving problems. The Onboarding Specialist should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with providers (our partners), while upholding the goals of the business.  

Onboarding Specialist Job Duties:  

  • Lead Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for provider partners interested in collaborating with Mindful Therapy Group. 
  • Organizational Mastery: Maintain organization across multiple platforms, including CRM, phone calls, texting, email, and onboarding software for providers. 
  • Business Plan Development: Create and implement business plans that set providers up for success early in their private practice journey. We provide all business plan resources and outlines. 
  • Relationship Building: Build trust and rapport with new providers through transparent, personable, and directive communication styles, helping them navigate our services and the transition to independent business ownership. 
  • Ongoing Support and Guidance: Continue to support providers once they are actively servicing clients in private practice. This includes business guidance, education on our services, and real-time support and troubleshooting. 
  • Strategic Conversations: Engage in thoughtful and nuanced discussions with partners to ensure mutual alignment of interests and business objectives. 
  • Effective Communication: Utilize your communication skills to navigate complex topics and foster collaborative solutions. 
  • EHR Proficiency: Become proficient in using an electronic health record (EHR) software system, and leverage that knowledge to train and coach providers to become independent users.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experienced with Microsoft Suite, Outlook, CRM systems (such as Zoho), and possesses a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.

Applicant Requirements

  • Educational Background or Experience: Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or have at least one year of experience in sales or account management. 
  • Office Presence: Available to work in the office five days a week, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. 
  • Physical Capability: Comfortable with sitting for extended periods. 
  • Focus and Adaptability: Ability to maintain concentration in a noisy environment. 
  • Meeting Management: Capable of conducting up to 10 business meetings per day with our partners.

Job Type: Full-time, Fully In-Office 

Pay: $60,000-$75,000/year plus Commission Bonus Opportunity
