MyTeam is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Customer Engagement Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing the customer journey—from onboarding to renewal—ensuring our users can fully leverage all the benefits of the myTeam platform. This role focuses on activation and retention through strategic communication, data understanding, and behind-the-scenes optimization of engagement strategies.

You will report directly to the Head of Growth and collaborate closely with the Customer Success Team. Requirements

After successfully joining myTeam you will go through a training program in which you will get familiarized with the techniques, tools and processes needed to thrive as a Customer Engagement Specialist. Once your training is complete, your key responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer retention and drive renewals: Build strong relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and ensure timely renewal of subscriptions. Leverage data insights to identify at-risk accounts and take proactive measures to retain them.
  • Activate and engage new customers. Design and implement strategies to accelerate customer activation while providing targeted education to maximize platform adoption. Utilize customer data to tailor activation plans to specific segments.
  • Follow communication cadences via email and phone: Engage with customers through structured communication workflows, delivering timely updates, support, and personalized insights to drive satisfaction and usage.
  • Leverage CRM tools to optimize performance: Effectively use CRM software to track tasks, document customer interactions, and analyze data to enhance processes and drive better results.
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement: Continuously explore innovative approaches to boost customer satisfaction, improve user experience, and deepen engagement with the platform.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills: Ability to clearly convey information and build meaningful relationships with customers to drive engagement and retention. 
  • Data-driven mindset: Proficient in analyzing customer data, identifying trends, and using this insight to improve customer engagement and drive results.
  • Marketing engagement understanding: Familiarity with designing and implementing engagement campaigns using CRM or marketing automation tools. Ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and refine strategies based on insights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
  • Self-motivated and driven: Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and energy, even during challenging situations.
  • Time management: Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals.

  • Experience with marketing concepts or related roles.
  • A customer-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
  • Interest in the sports industry or experience working with sports organizations.
  • Experience designing automated communication strategies.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities through data analytics and customer feedback.
