Principal Engineer / Techno-Functional Project Manager (Azure)

The Role: Techno – Functional Project Manager / Program Manager (40% Technical – 60% Functional)

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32226

Mode of Working: Onsite Hybrid - 3 days a week work from office

Duration – 12 Months + Possible extension

Experience Required: 10 Years Minimum

Must have skills : Azure Data Factory, Azure Pipeline Management (Capable), Azure Synapse, Databricks, Power BI (Capable)

Technical Skills:

• Strong technical expertise, dedicating 40% of the time to technical tasks.
• Proficient in Databricks, Azure components, Synapse/ADF, ADLS, and Power Bi.
• Well-versed in Azure integration services, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with customer and offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Understand the needs of the customer and translate them into actionable plans.
• Drive conversations with architects to align project goals and technical requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to teams, ensuring they overcome any challenges.
• Participate in estimations, planning, and troubleshooting with the teams.
• Drive discussions with Business Analysts (BAs) to ensure project alignment.
• Provide regular status updates to the Customer Scrum Master and Product Owners on project progress.
• Work closely with the team on a daily basis to ensure project milestones are met.
• Manage project coordination and management activities, dedicating 60% of the time to these tasks.
• Collaborate with customer executive management to understand and address their pain points.
• Maintain oversight of all projects running within the program.
• Work with the customer’s Data Architect to drive data-related discussions and decisions.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Certification in Azure or related technologies.
• Proven experience in project coordination and technical leadership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
