Nanogami is a highly innovative and rapidly growing startup in the field of DNA Origami-based nanotechnology (check out our DLD Talk or this article to learn more). Our international team is driven by a shared vision: to pioneer a novel generation of biochips set to unlock applications in research and diagnostics and thereby pushing the boundaries of personalised medicine to new heights. We recently secured significant funding by SPRIND - Germany’s Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation to realize our ambitious growth trajectory and now aim to significantly expand our current team to support the at-scale commercialisation of our nanotechnology.
Position Overview:
We're looking for a Founders Associate to work alongside our CEO on key projects that matter. In this role, you'll help manage strategic priorities, improve our internal processes, and support the execution of our company vision. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work, can adapt to changing needs, and wants to contribute meaningfully to a growing business. You'll gain valuable insight into how leadership decisions are made while helping us build something special.
Your Role & Impact
- Collaborate with the CEO as a trusted advisor, supporting strategic decision-making, problem-solving, and business planning and advice in the day-to-day business.
- Support of cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives (e.g. budgeting cycles, roadmapping)
- Develop reliable workflows, processes, and task automation throughout the entire company (accounting, logistics, procurement, human resources, legal, sales, etc.)
- Oversee all IT operations, from selecting and configuring hardware/software to maintaining systems, enforcing security, managing user access, and liaising with external partners
- Act as a bridge across teams, ensuring consistent communication and alignment on objectives.
- Conduct industry research and benchmarking to identify opportunities and provide insights to inform strategy and partnerships.
- Assist in preparing materials and communications for investors, ensuring clear and compelling messaging.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and adapt to changing priorities.
