Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

Platform Distribution and Partnerships is a division of NBCUniversal's media group responsible for the distribution and monetization of the company’s multi-billion-dollar linear and streaming services portfolio to pay-tv providers, NBC broadcast affiliates, consumer technology platforms and devices, and consumer brands. A key revenue-generator, the division is comprised of content distribution, affiliate relations and strategic partnerships across NBC, Peacock, Bravo, Telemundo and various FAST channels. 

The Client Experiences Coordinator supports the Client Services Team in the Platform Distribution and Partnerships Group. You will focus on VIP hospitality and executive engagement, assisting with the planning and execution of both client-facing and internal events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale industry trade shows.

Effective guest communication and event registration expertise are key components of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including event logistics, client travel arrangements, and coordination with the travel team for large-scale events.
  • Manage the event calendar, travel schedules, and department inventory (supplies, merchandise, event materials).
  • Act as on-site support for local and out-of-state events, serving as the primary liaison for event attendees and addressing travel and registration inquiries.
  • Oversee vendor setup, invoice processing, and shipment tracking for event-related materials.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members and coordinate team travel and expense management.
  • Support event preparation by conducting research, managing guest lists, sending invitations, and creating event collateral.
  • Handle ticket requests for clients attending corporate-sponsored events, maintaining tracking for compliance reporting.
  • Manage sponsorships and assist with talent appearances as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and event registration platforms.
  • Experience with hybrid and virtual meetings (Microsoft Teams preferred).
  • Knowledge of current event planning trends, venues, and hospitality standards.
  • Willingness to work in New York, NY, with up to 40% travel domestically and internationally.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $53,000 - $58,000
