Job Description

Responsible for managing commercial inventory, working closely with Planning in supporting the Ad Sales Strategic Planning group. Maximize revenue by coordinating internal process with ASRs, Planners, Ops & Finance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day inventory management for 2-3 News properties (Broadcast + Cable). Additional infrastructure responsibility across other properties as needed.
  • Works with Planning Leads, Ad Sales Finance, ASR and Direct Response teams to maximize revenue, monitor goals and identify risks.
  • Develops & implements solutions for inventory impacted by breaking news cycles.
  • Works with Programming & Ops to manage capacities, programming changes, etc.
  • Oversees inventory & stewardship connected to Network priorities, marketing & tentpole events.
  • All of the above performed in the dynamic & unpredictable environment of live News.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task & meet deadlines
  • Understanding of media math, Planning &/or Ad Sales Operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Sintec OnAir

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
