Job Description

  • Coordinator will be responsible for ingesting and ready-stating content for delivery to the Peacock and/or SkyShowtime Platform.
  • Coordinator will need to be well versed in communicating – frequent updates need to be sent to vendors, third party clients, network partners, and internal teams.
  • Research content availability and readiness for servicing and assist with content backfill.
  • Track status of content ingests and provide updates to stakeholders. Responsible for material management of programs, which includes coordination of delivery, fixes and replacements.
  • Upkeep trackers for internal and external teams with current status. Will work to organize and submit defects and escalations to providers.
  • Have a strong understanding of technical services and applications including Mediator and Translator.
  • May be asked to assist on other assignments across the team pending bandwidth; brand assignment could change based on future business needs.
  • Review all upcoming titles to ensure all aspects of contract & metadata are available.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure necessary details & content are available ahead of launch date.
  • Create, publish, and kick-off fulfillment orders for all content distribution across DTC & MVPD platforms.
  • Ensure consistency of delivery and publishing cadences; supporting changes as needed while adhering to syndication guidelines, compliance mandates, and marketing/promotional obligations.
  • Troubleshoot issues found in the end to end workflow and pull in necessary teams to assist when needed.
  • Audit content availability and entitlement windowing processes; proactively addressing all anomalies with licensing teams prior to content syndication.
  • There may be occasions around specific events where the operator may be asked to cover a different shift/date. Notification to be provided with as much advanced notice as possible.
  • May be asked to assist on other assignments across the team pending bandwidth.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • A high school diploma and relevant certification or associate degree in Media or Communications, or equivalent professional experience in a production, post-production or streaming service
  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment requiring troubleshooting, process skills, and exhibiting an ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
  • 1+ years of experience in a job using computers and software applications including outlook applications (excel, outlook) and Google Docs.
  • 1+ year experience in client facing customer service role
  • 1+ year experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, and project management
  • Must be willing to work in a hybrid model, contributing from the office 3x per week, and understand that business needs may alter over time.
  • Must be willing to work in Los Angeles, CA
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, as needed depending on business need. 

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelors or 2 year degree in Communications or Media.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Translator, Airtable, Mediator
  • Ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
