Digital Distribution Coordinator

We're hiring a Digital Distribution Coordinator!

About the role:
The Digital Distribution Coordinator will manage and facilitate the distribution of digital content across various platforms, coordinate the creation and trafficking of digital and physical media, and oversee merchandising and inventory. This role will work cross-functionally with marketing, design, fulfillment, and external partners to ensure the smooth flow of content and materials throughout the distribution process.

This role is designed to give you the flexibility to dive deep into the core of digital distribution while providing ample opportunities to contribute creatively to NEON’s growing catalog. Whether you're coordinating the logistics of a launch or analyzing data for future growth, your work will directly shape how NEON’s content reaches and resonates with audiences around the world. This role will be based in our New York office.

Your Day-to-Day:

  1. Content Management & Delivery:
    • Manage and deliver trailers, TV spots, and other video assets for retagging, re-editing, re-encoding, and final delivery.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure timely delivery and quality control for all content.
  2. Artwork Coordination:
    • Coordinate & trafficking artwork versioning (digital and physical media) and onboard new designers for new projects.
  3. Website & Digital Presence Management:
    • Update NEON branded websites, including Powster (ticketing site) and NEONRated.com, for Home Entertainment launches, ensuring content is current and accurate.
    • Coordinate web assets (images, videos, copy) for timely updates.
  4. Merchandise Management:
    • Oversee inventory for NEON’s merchandise store, including restocking, marketing, and materials creation.
    • Coordinate the design, resizing, and trafficking of marketing materials for both digital and physical media.
  5. Fulfillment Coordination:
    • Manage relationships with the fulfillment center partner to ensure that merchandise inventory is received and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
    • Ensure proper tracking and reporting of inventory movement and customer shipments.
  6. Physical Media Inventory Management:
    • Maintain and track physical media inventory (DVDs, Blu-rays, promotional materials) for PR, talent, and NEON offices.
    • Coordinate the distribution and allocation of media to internal teams and external partners.
  7. Metadata & Copy Management:
    • Compile and manage metadata for all external partners and vendors to ensure proper cataloging and distribution.
    • Compile copy for social media channels and content retagging.
  8. Screeners & Invoicing:
    • Handle all screener link requests from external partners, ensuring proper distribution and security.
    • Process and track all related invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  9. Special Projects & Data Support:
    • Assist with special projects as needed, including competitive data analysis, awards screener metadata, data entry, and trafficking.
    • Support team with ongoing digital distribution analysis to optimize workflows and improve processes.

Compensation:

New York State Annual Pay Transparency Range:  $65,000 - $70,000. This pay range represents the base salary per year for full-time positions. Actual base pay may vary based on several factors, including the location, the candidate's relevant knowledge and experience, education, necessary skill levels, the degree of specialization required for the position, budgetary limitations, and prevailing local market conditions.

Our Hybrid Work Model:
We spend three days a week working from the office. These intentional in-person days allow us to embrace the benefits of collaboration fully. The remaining days of the week are yours to decide where to work, allowing for a seamless blend of work and personal life.

Requirements

About you:

  • A passion for independent film and a keen understanding of NEON’s brand ethos and aesthetic.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital distribution, marketing, or media coordination, preferably in film or entertainment.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with digital media formats, artwork versioning, and web content management.
  • Knowledge of digital distribution platforms and social media management tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with physical media production (DVD/Blu-ray) and fulfillment processes.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) is a plus.

  • Team-oriented and able to collaborate across departments.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
