We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for providing escalated technical support, offering customized solutions, and supporting both pre- and post-sales activities. The Solutions Engineer will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, industry trends, and internal processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting solutions in the GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) and familiarity with Microsoft on-premise infrastructure or applications.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide escalated technical support for complex customer issues.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and deliver thorough, solution-oriented responses.
Sales Collaboration
- Participate in customer discovery sessions to gather business and technical requirements.
- Propose and tailor customized solutions and workflows aligned to customer needs and sales strategy.
Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Support
- Support pre-sales activities by joining discovery calls, demos, and scoping sessions.
- Assist with post-sales activities including implementation support and site audits.
Consulting Workshops
- Lead or participate in advanced consulting workshops during the implementation phase.
- Travel as needed to support on-site workshops with customers.
Expertise and Documentation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, internal processes, and industry trends.
- Develop, maintain, and update process documentation and internal best practices.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Implementation Specialist, or Technical Support Engineer role.
- Experience supporting or implementing solutions within the GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) nice to have.
- Experience implementing Microsoft on-premise infrastructure or applications, such as SharePoint Server, SQL Server, or Windows Server environments nice to have.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client-facing work.
