Position Overview:

As the Sales Director for Verizon Corporate, you will play a pivotal role in driving professional service revenue growth for Kelly Telecom at existing tier 1 client Verizon.


You will be responsible for building a sales strategy, developing/nurturing customer relationships, and positioning our service-based solutions to Verizon.  This role demands a strong understanding of Verizon business drivers, Verizon decision makers and organization, Verizon processes to select and on-board professional service suppliers to support Verizon’s Telecom Networks initiatives including Design, Implementation, Deployment, Operations, Optimization, Transformation and Administrative services.


Prequalification:

Proven track record of successfully introducing and selling relevant solutions or services to Verizon. Or previous employment with Verizon in a relevant decision-making role.


Job Duties:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to introduce and grow our professional service offerings to Verizon National/Regional and Market organization.
  • Identify new business opportunities and strategically position our services to meet the needs of Verizon key decision makers, influencers and functions. 
  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for your territory and create reliable forecasts 
  • Drive revenue by prospecting and building a pipeline while simultaneously fostering personal relationships with potential clients 
  • Leverage existing network of contacts and clients and understanding of Verizon business needs to shape service offerings to expand Kelly Telecom’s footprint within the Verizon account.
  • Cold call, generate new leads and follow up on pre-established leads 
  • Build and create strategies for penetration and account development
  • Close new business consistently at or above targets 
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from the introduction to ongoing account expansion 
  • Maintain frequent communication with an existing business to ensure quality control, repeat and new business development 
  • Work closely with the recruiting teams to ensure a high-quality delivery of candidates to the client 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the top Kelly Telecom competitors and the industry 
  • Network and maintain relationships with key client and talent communities for short/long term opportunities 
  • Travel regularly to be onsite at Verizon Headquarters for client meetings


Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED is required; Degree is preferred 
  • 7+ years sales experience in staffing or solution industry, and at least 2 years as a Senior Account Manager 
  • Skilled at building strong relationships with new and existing clients 
  • Adept at generating new streams of substantial revenue 
  • Self-motivated, passionate and hungry to make a big impact 
  • Competitive and unwilling to give up 
  • Excellent at negotiating and closing 
  • A skilled listener 
  • Proactive – taking initiative and following through is a must 
  • Resilient – there are good days and bad days, you’ve got to pick yourself up often
