Job Summary:The Director, Agency Development and CTV Ad Demand at Gracenote will be a key figure in driving the adoption and utilization of Gracenote's Connected TV (CTV) advertising data across advertising agencies, holding companies, and brands. This role requires deep relationships and engagement with organizations designing ad campaigns to promote, educate, and evangelize Gracenote's CTV ad products. The Director will lead initiatives to increase ad demand, serve as the primary evangelist for Gracenote's CTV solutions, and oversee strategic partnerships with major holding company partners and independent agencies.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Market Expansion and Revenue Growth:


*Lead initiatives to increase ad demand for Gracenote's CTV products.

*Identify and engage with key decision-makers at agencies, media buying groups, and holding companies.

*Own and drive revenue growth within agencies, ensuring alignment with Gracenote's strategic goals.


2. Product Evangelism and Partnership Management:


*Serve as the primary evangelist for Gracenote's CTV ad solutions, educating the market on benefits, capabilities, and performance.

*Develop and deliver compelling presentations, case studies, and education programs for large audiences.

*Build, maintain, and leverage a network of high-level contacts within advertising agencies and holding companies.

*Foster trust and long-term partnerships to ensure Gracenote is considered for all relevant CTV campaigns.


3. Product Team Partnership: 


*Collaborate closely with the product management organization to bring market feedback, jointly develop customer pitches, and understand and influence the product roadmap.


4. Strategic Planning and Cross-Functional Collaboration:


*Contribute to the strategic planning process by identifying market trends, competitor analysis, and growth opportunities.

*Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other departments to align strategies and coordinate efforts.

*Spearhead internal community of cross-functional partners to maximize efforts for complex projects.


5. Campaign Integration and Feedback Loop:


*Ensure Gracenote's CTV ad solutions are effectively integrated into client campaigns.

*Collect and analyze market feedback regarding product performance and feature requests.

*Relay information to product and engineering teams to drive product improvements.


6. Agency Development and Scaled Initiatives:


*Develop a prioritization framework to handle servicing at scale.

*Evaluate potential development and implementation of joint business plans.

*Project manage the execution of scalable programs including education, data/insights workstreams, and innovation-driven programs.


This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of CTV advertising at Gracenote, driving innovation and growth in a dynamic market.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Brand Advertising, Media Agency, and/or Business Development.
  • Strong understanding of CTV advertising landscape and user behavior.
  • Ability to operate with excellence in managing agency business at scale.
  • Strategic operator with a service mindset and high emotional intelligence.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage key decision-makers at all levels.
  • Expertise in developing and delivering high-impact presentations.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and leveraging data to inform strategies.
  • Passion for the advertising industry and staying current with market trends.

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $100,000 - $300,000, which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications, and other business requirements/needs.
