We are the Retail Customer Success team, a digitally focused research team within NIQ, and we love collaborating with clients to identify current and future market opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
This position is for someone with a strong research background who is or wants to become an expert in the retail market. As part of the team you’ll get to understand the UK retail landscape, dynamics, and consumer buying and behaviours, and translate what we learn into specific opportunities for our clients. We love to get immersed in data, work with it, come up with new hypotheses, and keep interrogating what we produce in order to create story-led analysis we are proud of.
This client facing role involves taking the lead with a portfolio of the UK’s largest retail clients – being responsible for managing day to day requests and using data to develop strategic and tactical recommendations and insights and solve business needs. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients, so being able to establish rapport with clients by being client-focused, responsive and approachable is necessary.
Not only that, but as a senior position within the Retail CSM team, you will be expected to support with the leadership of the team, supporting the Head of Retail Insights, and helping roll out the strategy for the team, and the clients. You will need to be able to confidently present PowerPoint reports, initially alongside a co-presenter, with an expectation of taking full ownership in the medium term.
