Digital Content Writer (SA&I North America)

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Content Writer to play a key role in enabling sellers reach new clients, engage with our current clients, and strategize how to market new service and product features for the Strategic Analytics and Insights (SA&I) business. 
You are a storyteller, with a talent for simplifying complex stories and concepts through an economy of words, relevant examples, as well as resonant ideas and imagery. 
You can grasp complexities and nuances of solutions portfolio and simplify differentiated capabilities into clear marketing content. 
You are equal parts marketer and writer; you have a firm understanding of how content takes users through the customer journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage content development for our North America SA&I business, creating a clear, engaging story and maintaining global brand voice and verbal identity 
  • Plan, build and deploy compelling and engaging content, aligned to business objectives and supporting customer journey 
  • Develop copy on a wide variety of topics throughout various formats (reports, case studies, thought leaderships, one pagers, pitch decks, videos, articles) to improve engagement and conversion 
  • Support big strategic RFIs and RFPs by creating complete and compelling responses to the questions posed in a request for proposal. 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (practice leaders) and proposal contributors to articulate complex facets of products and services 
  • Assist with proposal knowledge management and retention of content for future use 
  • Draft, review, and revise content for insights, solutions, and SA&I landing pages, effectively and accurately incorporating SA&I and NielsenIQ data into content as appropriate 
  • Identify clients’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics to help sellers engage with clients and leads 
  • Collaborate with campaign managers, insights team, and designers 
  • Work with sales teams to ensure content such as marketing collateral, sales tools, and event collateral maintains brand voice and drives engagement with SA&I target audience 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in content marketing in a corporate or agency environment 
  • Bachelor's Degree in liberal arts or business; Master’s degree a plus. 
  • Strong English speaker, excellent writing and editing skills in English 
  • Knowledge of NIQ and at least one of SA&I legacy solutions 
  • Examples that show off your communication, writing, and project management skills. 
  • Exceptional writing skills in a marketing and communication environment, including editing and proofreading 
  • A good understanding of B2B content, experience with consumer goods/FMCG (retail/manufacturing) 
  • Ability to proofread with close attention to detail  
  • Experience producing different types of written content and doing research using multiple sources 
  • Required software skills: MS Office Suite 
  • Preferred software skills: CRM/software tools, Trello, Google analytics, Data Management Platform
