We are currently seeking a dedicated Key Account Manager – Mobility to join our team. In this role, you will shape and execute the Mobility IV (not limited to) sales and business development strategy towards existing and new customers, with a special focus on global, European-based mobility customers and others.
You will promote industry-specific solutions based on NX Group’s products and supply chain solutions. You will have the opportunity to manage our top global key accounts within the Mobility segment and act as the face to our customers.
These are your key tasks:
- Driving customer acquisition through consultative selling
- Developing new business opportunities in the Mobility sector
- Managing and nurturing relationships with regional and global key accounts
- Generating cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across Nippon Express services (Air, Ocean, Rail, Logistics, Road)
- Collaborating with Country Sales Managers, internal teams, and global regions to align on strategic initiatives
- Reporting regularly to the Mobility Director on progress and performance
- Supporting the successful business handover between Sales, Operations, and Implementation teams
- Participating in industry events and maintaining market knowledge
- Ensuring key account management plans are executed effectively and results are achieved
- Providing insights to product management and ensuring customer satisfaction through regular reviews
- Monitoring and improving sales performance and customer KPIs
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree or industry certifications are a plus, but not mandatory
- In-depth understanding of trade lane specifics within the Mobility industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and logistics business models
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding
- Strong sales proficiency with a solid background in Mobility or capital equipment (preferred)
- Proven experience in delivering impactful presentations and conducting successful negotiations
- Ability to navigate and manage a range of variables in dynamic, non-standardized situations
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and solve logistical challenges as needed
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in decision-making and motivating teams
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Effective communicator, able to respond to inquiries from management teams and clients
