Director, Distribution

The Director of Distribution is a leadership role responsible for overseeing inbound receiving, order management, inventory control, outbound fulfillment, and reverse logistics at NOBULL. The Director manages and monitors the 3rd party relationships across all distribution center operations. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with key internal partners in the company, and optimization of processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers. The Director of Distribution will play a critical role in driving accountability, improving efficiency, and maintaining high standards of service in the distribution function. 

• Lead the Distribution function for NOBULL, inclusive of strategy and execution
• Manage the day to day operations through 3rd party partners
• Create and implement processes, KPI’s and scorecards to maximize service levels and optimize costs
• Build the distribution center network to support the long term growth of NOBULL
• Collaborate with the Customer Service function to address Distribution-related customer inquiries and issues
• Own and manage the Distribution budget
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with distribution operations, including supply chain disruptions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and launch supply chain solutions to enhance the customer experience and build new capabilities
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of direct reports to be accountable for different aspects of Distribution

• 10+ years of relevant logistics experience
• 3+ years in a management position that includes direct supervision of personnel
• Experience in footwear or apparel preferred
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and offer data-driven insights
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and eCommerce & wholesale processes
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and NetSuite or similar systems
• Ability to travel 10 – 15%
