• Dive deep into cutting-edge data infrastructure, focusing on high-frequency, high-volume multi-modal streaming data with transformation and alerting capabilities
• Render and visualize mission-critical data in data-dense web applications, often with tight feedback loops with hardware engineers in the field
• Quickly take ownership of projects from start to finish, after receiving mentorship from our world-class engineers and domain experts
• Have a front-row seat to the evolution of an early-stage company
• Watch Nominal grow, onboard new customers, and expand its product offerings, while contributing to our mission of transforming the testing and validation landscape for complex hardware systems

• You’re aiming for a full-time position starting as early as July/August 2025
• You have a personal passion for contributing to the future of aerospace, energy, and national security
• You have exceptional hands-on experience and strong core engineering skills – whether through internships, personal projects, or academic work - and can explain how they work down to the smallest implementation decisions
• Your peers would describe you as extremely resourceful, obsessed, and grounded

• Relevant Data Technologies: Apache Arrow, DataFusion, Flink, Beam, Kafka, Superset, DuckDB, TimescaleDB, QuestDB, Druid, Parquet, InfluxDB
• Frontend Technologies: Plotly.js, D3.js
• Modern Tech Stack: React, Typescript, Next.js, tRPC, Java, Wasm, WebGL, ZeroMQ, Serverless Functions, Postgres
• DevOps Tools & Infrastructure: AWS, K8s, EKS, Helm, FluxCD
