Online Monitoring Engineering Coordinator
Role Overview
We have a unique opportunity for an experienced individual in the nuclear industry to join our growing team as an online monitoring engineering coordinator. This role involves implementing online monitoring projects to support equipment and system health condition monitoring at client sites.
Please note that this role requires occasional site visits to Bruce County and Durham Region, dependent on project needs.
Salary Range: $90k-130k (Exact compensation may vary).
Responsibilities
- Support project management and engineering tasks associated with the implementation of continuous online monitoring modifications at Bruce Power and OPG.
- Work with utility Monitoring and Diagnostic Centers to strategize new sensor implementation projects.
- Support creation of job aids, program documents, dashboards, etc. to standardize M&D Center processes.
What you bring to the table?
- Preference given to candidates with a strong technical background and experience working in engineering, operations, or maintenance in the Canadian Nuclear industry.
- Technical education or equivalent practical experience in the areas of Equipment Reliability, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or I&C.
- Education or experience working with industrial network protocols, data historians, and/or Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices.
- Strong analytical capabilities and passionate about working with new technologies.
- A growth mindset focused on continuous learning and driving industry change.
- Must be able to visit client sites (Durham Region and Bruce County) on an occasional basis, as required to support project activities and deliverable submission.
