We are expanding our team and are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our IT support team, to grow and evolve with us! The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating a smooth operation for all our internal IT systems, working closely with our InfoSec department, and meeting the day-to-day needs of Omilians around the world!
Key Accountabilities
- Provide exceptional daily support to internal end users, responding to their IT needs with patience and empathy;
- Set up and config new laptops (Apple) for new and existing employees, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience;
- Onboard new employees onto our IT services, guiding them through the process and answering any questions;
- Manage user accounts and hardware/IT equipment inventory;
- Communicate with service centers and suppliers on warranty repairs;
- Collaborate actively and effectively as an integrated team member, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues;
- Meet regularly with the line manager to review progress and seek guidance;
- Manage issue resolution and critically escalate when necessary;
- Work effectively with other teams, units, and departments to ensure cohesive IT support;
- Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure smooth information flow and teamwork;
- Support the organization's other priority activities when necessary;
- Act as an Omilia ambassador.
- Academic degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field;
- 1-2 years of working experience in a relevant role;
- Proven ability to provide excellent end-user support and troubleshooting with a focus on clear communication and problem-solving.
- Basic knowledge in:
- Computer Networks (TCP/IP, VLANs, etc);
- Operating systems (Windows / Linux);
- Scripting language (bash, Python);
- Active Directory;
- Virtual environments (e.g., VMware, Proxmox).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Verbal & written proficiency both in Greek and English.
Nice to have:
- Experience in MacOS troubleshooting;
- Experience in MDM platforms (eg. JAMF);
- Experience in Ticket systems.
