Associate Scientific Director (Regulatory)

 

 

We are seeking a seasoned Associate Scientific Director with a proven track record of leading scientific content development for regulatory communications (health authority meeting preparation, presentations, briefing materials.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

This unique opportunity involves working with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to develop scientific strategy and content for health authority meetings. These include, but are not limited to, FDA milestone meetings, FDA Advisory Committee Meetings, CHMP Oral Explanations, as well as Scientific Advice Group meetings.

 

In this role, you will be working closely in a supportive and collaborative team environment to develop presentations, briefing documents, and responses to health authority questions. You will also be trained to participate in our unique workshops and strategy exercises. The role requires a strategic thinker and flexible team player with initiative, leadership skill, and most importantly strong interpersonal and scientific communication skills. You will report to the SVP of Scientific Communications and will work collaboratively with senior leaders within the company and the group.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

 

  • A doctoral degree with 2 to 3 years of agency or pharmaceutical industry experience in supporting scientific communications, preferably in the regulatory field.
  • Therapeutic area experience in Hematology/Oncology is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the drive to build client and team relationships
  • A passion for science and medicine, with a proven track record of communicating medical advances to different audiences and getting up to speed quickly on new therapeutic areas
  • Ability to lead and execute development of content for complex projects with minimal review/direction
  • Independently and accurately incorporate strategic concepts into projects

 

Willingness to travel is a requirement.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000. This range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an HCG Agency in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire. HCG reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time If your requirements fall outside of this range, you are still welcome to apply.
