Managing Partner, Client Leadership

About the Role:

OMD EMEA are looking for a Managing Partner on the Philips business. You’ll use your experience as a media specialist, leading a global multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, integrated outputs as a Centre of Excellence overseeing the global network’s output and being accountable for driving excellence on the business. 

You will be responsible for the seamless running of the global agency operating model for media, ensuring the best media thinking and work is delivered amongst key regions and teams. You will accomplish this by working with your team of specialists and coaching them to deliver their best work as well as bringing in your knowledge and training them to think holistically. You will be expected to drive innovation that can improve client performance as well as developing processes across team operations.

About You:

  • You will be a highly regarded practitioner within your field, with extensive commercial experience. You need to have an excellent understanding of media agency business, either by working in or closely with an agency, with international scope.
  • You will have a number of years experience in communications - with proven expertise in delivering against marketing objectives and broader agency and relationship KPIs.
  • Defining the key priorities and workstreams for Philips at a global level and collaborating with the regions to translate and define across the markets.
  • Driving connection and knowledge sharing between the different Omnicom teams and agencies for Philips across the globe.
  • You must have experience of managing people, and you should have experience managing and owning relationships with senior clients, responsible for the overall relationship and show you can run profitable teams.
  • You will take a leadership role on new business pitches, and you'll enjoy presenting your work in pitches.
  • You will lead all your client relationships and be accountable for defining their annual growth plan and centralised global media and data team scope of work.
  • Ability to construct and motivate high performance amongst teams.
  • Comfortable and passionate engaging and persuading the most senior internal & client stakeholders.
  • Ability to run a P&L for your teams business (including associated specialisms).
  • You will ensure the team is appropriately resourced and using the full range of available agency skill sets.
  • You will be responsible for the quality of response across all channels & specialisms, looking to deliver industry leading, award winning work.
  • Strong network management skills. You will be the overseer of ensuring that strategic excellence and operational delivery are aligned and achieved. You will be the point of escalation for agency and market challenges and able to resolve any issues
  • You will be a trusted advisor to your clients with a deep understanding of their priorities and challenges. Based on these objectives, you will define the team's scope of work and make sure this scope is delivered.
