Head of Logistics and Fulfilment

A leading company in the tires industry is searching for a strategic and experienced Head of Logistics and Fulfilment to lead their logistics operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire supply chain logistics process, from procurement to warehousing and distribution, ensuring higher efficiency and seamless fulfilment to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the transformation of warehousing, transportation, and overall logistics operations from traditional methods to a modern, efficient, and scalable model, laying the foundation for operational excellence.

• Develop and execute logistics and distribution plans to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and meet customer delivery expectations.

• Establish robust logistics and fulfillment processes and infrastructure to support current operations and future growth, ensuring scalability and flexibility.

• Manage inventory distribution, ensuring the right product is available in the right place at the right time through effective distribution and replenishment strategies.

• Lead financial oversight for warehousing and transportation, distribution and replenishment, and fulfilment functions, ensuring budget adherence and financial targets are met, including cost optimization and ROI enhancement.

• Utilize advanced technology for inventory, transportation, warehousing, and fulfilment systems to streamline operations.

• Collaborate with Technology team to develop and enhance our tech stack and logistics platforms, ensuring they are scalable for future growth.

• Spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge logistics strategies, incorporating automation and digital tools to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with sales forecasts, purchasing activities, and market demands, optimizing inventory levels and minimizing obsolescence.

• Drive the establishment and monitoring of logistics and distribution performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Ensure regulatory compliance across all logistics, warehouse operations, and distribution practices.

• Bachelor’s in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment management within distribution and retail industry, automotive experience preferred.

• Demonstrated success in leading logistics and fulfillment operations with direct financial responsibility.

• Strong technical proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software, including ERP, WMS, and OMS.

• Expertise in modern logistics technologies, including automation and digitalization, for improving efficiency and scalability.
