Account Receivable Specialist

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate client invoices; resolve any billing discrepancies. 
  • Payment Processing: Record and apply incoming payments; reconcile AR ledger. 
  • Collections: Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments. 
  • Escalations: Identify high-risk accounts and escalate unresolved cases to management or external agencies. 
  • Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve payment or billing issues in coordination with internal teams. 
  • Reporting: Generate AR aging reports and support forecasting and performance tracking. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail and good organizational habits. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 
  • Basic understanding of credit and collection practices is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of accounting software is an advantage. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Previous experience in collections, customer service, or administrative roles will be an added advantage. 
     

Requirements:  

  • 2+ years experience in Account Receivables 
  • Experience working with Xero (desirable) 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Great attention to detail 
  • Experience in the digital marketing/SAAS industry (desirable)
