What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused First Line IT Service Desk / Support Analyst to support our internal users with day-to-day IT issues and requests. You’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, helping troubleshoot issues, manage bespoke applications, and ensure seamless business operations. You'll also play a key role in collaborating with stakeholders to enhance systems and improve the overall user experience.
What will you do?
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support, resolving hardware, software, network, and application issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate solutions clearly to non-technical users.
- Support and troubleshoot custom (bespoke) business applications, escalating when needed.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and hardware setup across the organization.
- Conduct IT inductions for new starters, ensuring smooth onboarding.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring uptime and efficiency.
- Maintain IT documentation and support guides for both users and internal use.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement application updates and improvements.
- Support compliance with SOX and internal audit processes.
- Track IT assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to decommission.
Who are you?
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to simplify technical topics.
- Solid experience supporting Windows OS, Office 365, networking, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
- Familiarity with bespoke applications and an understanding of how IT supports business processes.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow (a plus).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Motivated, adaptable, and able to handle shifting priorities under pressure.
- Experience in creating user accounts, setting up devices, and supporting end-users.
- A mindset for continuous improvement and user experience optimization.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar IT support or application analyst role.
