Data Integration Specialist

Optimiza is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data integration processes that enable seamless data flow across our systems and applications. Your expertise will play an essential role in enhancing data accessibility and ensuring high-quality data for analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data integration solutions using ETL tools and techniques to process and transfer data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into effective integration strategies.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data integration processes to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement data quality measures, including validation and cleansing processes, to maintain data integrity.
  • Document data integration workflows, transformations, and data mappings for future reference.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data integration and big data analytics.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on integration methodologies and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data integration, ETL development, and data management.
  • Proven experience with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Apache NiFi.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud data integration solutions and platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Python, SQL) for data manipulation and processing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant data integration or ETL certifications are a plus.
