Senior QA Specialist

Optimiza is looking for a skilled Katalon QA Specialist to join our dynamic quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing automated testing frameworks using Katalon Studio to enhance the testing efficiency and accuracy of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with the development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and to identify test requirements.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects as well as track their resolutions.
• Participate in test planning and strategy discussions while contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the QA process.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to streamline the release process and enhance software quality.
• Document test procedures, results, and other QA-related activities in accordance with company standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in automation testing tools and methodologies.

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on automation testing.
• Proficiency in using Katalon Studio for automated testing of web and mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases, analyzing results, and reporting defects.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and best practices for integrating automated tests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of other automation tools or programming languages (e.g., Java, Groovy, Selenium) is a plus.
