This is a hybrid position based out of our NYC office.

About the Role:

OptionMetrics is seeking a Jr. Model Validation Analyst to join our Data Quality & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating new data sources, methodologies, and model enhancements. You will build and implement systematic approaches to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and stability of our models and datasets.

What You'll Do:

- Conduct in-depth validation of new data sources and assess their impact on derived calculations.

- Evaluate new methodologies and analytics for consistency and accuracy.

- Analyze model performance enhancements to ensure stability and effectiveness.

- Develop systematic validation processes for large datasets, ensuring high-quality results.

- Collaborate with Quants, Data Analysts, and Business Analysts to improve model integrity.

What We're Looking For:

- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data validation and analysis.

- A degree in Computer Science or Financial Engineering.

- Familiarity with financial markets, derivatives, or risk modeling is a plus.
