Opus1.io, a trailblazing SaaS CRM startup tailored for music and performing arts schools, is on a mission to revolutionize the way music education businesses interact with their clients. Having recently secured $5m in funding, we're poised for rapid expansion and are looking to grow our sales team. Our platform is designed to streamline operations, foster growth, and elevate the customer experience for performing arts education providers worldwide.
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads, setting up meetings, and supporting the sales pipeline. This position is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for sales and technology who thrives in a fast-paced environment. A background in music education, such as experience as a former music instructor or studio administrator, is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
• Outbound Prospecting: Conduct outreach via phone, email, and social media to engage potential clients and introduce Opus1.io’s products and services.
• Qualification: Evaluate the needs and challenges of potential clients to determine if they are a good fit for our solutions, and qualify leads based on established criteria.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and participate in strategy sessions to refine outreach approaches.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and status updates in the CRM system, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accessible.
• Meeting Coordination: Schedule and set up meetings or calls between qualified leads and sales executives, ensuring all relevant information is communicated effectively.
What we are looking for:
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is a plus. A background in music education, such as a former music instructor or studio administrator, is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Resilience and persistence in a high-volume outreach environment
• Coachable and open to feedback and continuous learning
