Overview

We’re looking for skilled, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA who desire a career that matters in a community that values their expertise. Our Small House Neighborhood is an elder care community unlike any nursing home or elder care institution you have seen before. As an Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA, you will experience a much lower ratio of care giver to resident than other places hiring Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA.  

Pay: Starting from $18.50 increases with experience plus $3.00 2nd shift differential and $1.50 3rd shift differentials

Shifts available: Full Time 1st, Part Time 1st, Part Time 2nd, Part Time 3rd        

Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
  • Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
  • Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
  • Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
  • Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
  • Laundry and light housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma/GED
  • Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in State of Ohio.  Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry. 
  • Good documentation, communications, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to use tools and equipment required
