Senior Manager, Member Experience Education

At Oura, our mission is to empower every person to own their inner potential. With our award-winning Oura Ring and app, we help over 2.5 million people turn insights about sleep, activity, and readiness into healthier, more balanced lives. We believe that starts from within — by creating a culture where our team feels supported, included, and inspired to do their best work. Our values guide how we show up for each other and our community every day.

What you will do:

Educational Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive educational strategy that enhances understanding and engagement with Oura's products and services across various audiences, including partner networks, enterprise and retail support, and external customers.

    • Develop audience-specific learning paths and content formats tailored to a range of audiences, including partner networks, enterprise clients, and individual customers.
    • Establish metrics to track the effectiveness of educational strategies, such as knowledge retention, engagement rates, and support ticket reduction

Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation and curation of educational content across multiple platforms, ensuring it is accurate, engaging, and aligned with our brand values. Utilize AI tools to streamline content creation and ensure it meets the diverse needs of our members, partners, and external customers.

    • Develop and implement varied curriculum structures, including self-paced online courses, live webinars, and in-person workshops, tailored to different learning styles and audience needs, and explore potential certification programs to enhance credibility and engagement.
    • Evaluate and select appropriate educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), video conferencing platforms, and interactive content tools to facilitate effective delivery of learning pathways and ensure accessibility for diverse audiences.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a network of content creators, trainers, and education specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Encourage the adoption of AI technologies to enhance team productivity and creativity.

    • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to provide feedback, support, and professional development opportunities.
    • Organize training sessions and workshops on the latest educational technologies and AI tools for the team.
    • Oversee the training and development of partner network trainers, including onboarding, ongoing skill enhancement, performance monitoring, and ensuring consistent delivery of Oura's educational content and brand messaging.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, and product development to ensure a cohesive approach to customer support and partner engagement.

    • Collaborate with the Sales team to align educational content with sales strategies and customer onboarding processes, ensuring partners and clients receive consistent messaging and support materials that facilitate product adoption and retention.
    • Partner with the Marketing team to develop promotional and educational campaigns that highlight product features and benefits, and work with Product Development to stay informed about upcoming releases and updates, integrating this information into training materials and communications for all audiences.
    • Coordinate with the Product team to provide feedback from users and partners regarding product functionality and educational needs, influencing future product development and ensuring educational content reflects the latest product features and updates.
    • Liaise with the Enterprise Support team to outline educational requirements, developing targeted training materials and resources to address these challenges and improve overall enterprise customer satisfaction and support efficiency.

Feedback Integration: Utilize feedback and data analytics from members, partners, and external customers to continuously refine and improve educational content and delivery methods. Gather and incorporate feedback from trainees and stakeholders to enhance training content and delivery.

    • Implement feedback mechanisms, such as surveys and forums, to gather insights from various audiences.
    • Analyze data from learning management systems and customer support platforms to identify areas for improvement in educational content and delivery.
    • Gather and analyze user data and testimonials to assess the impact of educational content on user health behaviors and outcomes, and use these insights to refine educational materials and strategies that promote healthier lifestyles and better utilization of the Oura Ring's features.

Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in educational technology and methodologies to keep Oura at the forefront of member, partner, and customer education.

    • Attend industry conferences, webinars, and workshops to stay updated on the latest trends and innovations.
    • Pilot new educational technologies and methodologies to assess their potential impact and effectiveness for Oura.

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in educational program development, preferably within a technology or health-related field working with partner networks, enterprise and retail support, and/or external customers.
