Candidates located in Central & East Coast USA will be considered for this remote work position. 

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to manage a team of AEs while actively selling and closing business where needed. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading, coaching and inspiring salespeople. The candidate should also have experience working at scale-ups and have a love for selling and participating in client-facing motions. 

You will play a pivotal role in quickly driving sales and expanding our customer base. As a self-starter, you'll be responsible for taking initiative, building new processes, and improving upon our sales strategy, and executing it with perseverance and confidence.

Your Impact:

  • Managing a team of Account Executives and partnering with the CRO to ensure our sales processes are leading to repeatable and scalable results
  • Showcase a “hunter” mentality, proactively seeking new opportunities and pushing the boundaries to drive sales success; you have experience at a scale-up where “everyone sells” including leadership
  • Oversight of the sales pipeline to ensure it is healthy enough to drive consistent growth and revenue generation; partner with Revenue Operations to assist with the reporting and measurement of our success and areas of opportunity 
  • Drive pipeline and opportunity reviews with the team to provide sales coaching, agreed-upon next steps, and resource allocation to accelerate sales velocity
  • Utilize your expertise in business development to effectively communicate the value of Oversee's products to potential customers; answering the “so what” to our solutions
  • Enable partner deal support, cross-functional planning, relationship management, and analytical insights
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure the partnership is driving revenue generation and aligned with the sales GTM priorities and approach
  • Manage executive-level contacts with key partners including CEO/COO-level meetings
  • Work with Oversee senior leadership to develop and write program concepts, proposals, and reports
  • Lead negotiation and contracting with our strategic partners

About You:

  • +8 years experience in a quota carrying role of an account executive
  • +3 years experience managing an outside sales team as a sales leader
  • Experience in pipeline generation and management; reporting throughout the org and partnering with Revenue Operations stakeholders to do so.
  • Working at a high-growth technology company.
  • Experience working in a startup environment (company under 100 employees)
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills, playing an active role in discussing and developing solutions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Executive-level communication/presenting skills.
  • Develop strategies and business plans with partners and execute against metrics and milestones to drive user growth and revenue.

Advantages:

  • Having been the first salesperson hired (or close to it!) at a company that is growing by multiples YoY.
  • Experience working in travel technology and/or at an expense management company is a big bonus.
  • Force Management and/or MEDDPICC experience or certification a plus.

OTE Pay Ranges

For sales roles, the ranges are expressed as On Target Earning or OTE (OTE = base + incentives in the form of sales incentive plans).

On Target Earnings $200,000-$265,000 per year
