Our goal at P-1 AI is to develop an artificial general engineering intelligence— and eventually superintelligence— that can help the human species design physical systems more efficiently and at unprecedented levels of complexity. • Develop template systems and context/scenario models for a specific family of products. These templates should be suitable for conducting design space exploration with several types of variability, such as parametric variation, component-choice variation, and architecture/topology variation. Template models should simulate successfully for a majority of the variability options.
• Develop processing steps for producing performance metrics for simulated designs. This may be in the form of Modelica blocks that produce scalar or boolean signals by the end of a simulation, in the form of post-processing scripts, or another appropriate form.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to fulfill template needs and identify critical models for the initial product domain. 
• Estimated time commitment: 40 hrs/week

• Expert-level proficiency with Modelica. 
• Experience creating new Modelica components.
• Experience creating complex, large-scale system models in Modelica.
• Familiarity with Modelica libraries involving mechanical, thermodynamic, and fluidic systems.
