Palazzo.ai is a New York-based startup specializing in AI-driven virtual staging and interior design solutions. As we scale, we need an accountant/bookkeeper who understands New York State sales tax laws, including resale certificates (ST-120), tax compliance, and bookkeeping for a US-registered company.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

✅ New York Sales Tax Compliance – Assist with resale certificate (ST-120) applications and filings
✅ Bookkeeping & Financial Management – Maintain accurate financial records, categorize expenses, and manage tax filings
✅ Tax Documentation & Compliance – Ensure all necessary documents are properly filed and accessible for audits
✅ Financial Reporting & Strategy – Advise on financial planning, tax-saving opportunities, and regulatory requirements

📌 Qualifications:

🔹 Must be based in the Philippines with experience in US accounting
🔹 Experience working with US-based clients or accounting firms
🔹 Strong understanding of New York State sales tax and compliance
🔹 Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or other US accounting software
🔹 Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
