Responsibilities:

  1. Job Posting: Create and distribute compelling job postings that clearly communicate the role’s requirements and are designed to attract top talent across various platforms.
  2. Candidate Sourcing: Actively source and screen applications, conducting initial interviews to identify candidates who meet the job criteria and possess the potential to excel in the role.
  3. Interview Coordination: Arrange and manage the entire interview process, ensuring that it is well-organized, efficient, and provides a positive experience for both the candidates and the hiring team.
  4. Candidate Presentation: Present top candidates to clients by highlighting their strengths, qualifications, and how they meet the specific needs of the role and the organization.
  5. Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and that they are fully equipped and prepared to succeed in their new roles.
  6. Client Engagement: Understand the specific needs and goals of clients to effectively attract and recruit candidates who are not only qualified for the role but also align well with the company’s culture and long-term objectives.
  7. Technology Utilization: Utilize various recruitment technologies, such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), to streamline the recruitment process, manage candidate data efficiently, and enhance overall productivity.
  8. Networking: Build and maintain a robust talent pool by actively networking and engaging with potential candidates, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified individuals for current and future roles.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience: Background in Business or a related field; an MBA is a plus. Previous experience in recruitment or talent acquisition is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Proficiency in video conferencing tools for remote interviews.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, your day begins by reviewing and updating job postings to ensure they are reaching the right candidates. You’ll spend time sourcing candidates, screening applications, and conducting initial interviews to identify those who best fit the role requirements. Throughout the day, you’ll coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring the process is seamless and efficient. You’ll also prepare detailed candidate profiles for presentation to clients, highlighting their qualifications and how they align with the role. In addition, you’ll support the onboarding process for new hires, making sure they have everything they need for a successful start. Your day wraps up by engaging with clients to discuss their hiring needs and utilizing recruitment technologies to maintain an organized and efficient process.
