About the Role:
Our Client Relations Team is expanding! If you're passionate about building strong, long-term partnerships and have a background in client management—particularly within POS solutions and payment services—this is your opportunity to join a rapidly growing European fintech.
As a Client Relations Manager, you'll act as the main point of contact for our merchant clients, focusing on the delivery and optimization of POS payment solutions. You'll play a key role in ensuring a seamless client experience, driving account growth, and helping merchants get the most value from their relationship with payabl.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for a portfolio of POS-enabled merchant accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
- Provide consultative support and training on payabl.’s POS systems, features, and value propositions to empower merchants and improve their payment operations.
- Understand merchant needs and business models, offering tailored solutions and strategic guidance that promote adoption and maximize usage of our POS services.
- Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, supporting account expansion through new products or enhanced service tiers.
- Build strong, professional relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within merchant organizations.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Support, and Compliance teams to deliver a seamless merchant experience from onboarding to ongoing support.
- Collect and communicate merchant feedback, pain points, and feature requests to the Product team, helping shape future enhancements.
- Monitor and analyze key client metrics to ensure alignment with business goals and service expectations.
- Support the achievement of company revenue and growth targets by driving merchant satisfaction and loyalty.

- POS Payments Expert – You bring 3+ years of experience in client relations, business development, or account management within the payments or POS industry. You understand merchant acquiring, in-store transactions, and terminal solutions from the ground up.
- Merchant-Focused & Growth-Oriented – You’re a trusted advisor to your clients. You proactively engage merchants, help them optimize their operations, and spot opportunities for growth, retention, and upselling.
- POS Ecosystem Insider – You know the landscape: from hardware and integration to transaction flows and emerging retail payment trends. You’re always tuned into what merchants need next.
- Metrics-Driven Strategist – You use data and client success KPIs to shape your strategy, track performance, and continuously deliver more value.
